Why Join CHVI

The Center for Health Value Innovation (CHVI) is the healthcare industry’s recognized authority, primary voice and principal educator on outcomes-based contracting, health benefits design and health value acceleration. Established in 2007, CHVI is a professional association comprised of members from two primary groups: employers and allies.

We empower organizations, primarily employers and payers, with practical, yet effective tools that help employees become more engaged for better health decisions  and meaningfully navigate the healthcare landscape. We educate the payer community on better reimbursement models that align incentives to create accountable care and predictable health cost trends. Our methods and strategies are empirically proven to improve health outcomes and ultimately lower overall healthcare cost and trend across the organization.

If you would like to join CHVI we offer two types of membership, employer or ally, with both offering a wide range of benefits and services including:

Employers

CHVI Employer Membership is open to all organizations that derive their primary revenues from products that are not related to health services. Typical employer members of CHVI are representatives of these companies who work as health benefits executives, HR and health promotion professionals, corporate medical directors, or financial executives at organizations that DO NOT provide health services as their primary business function.  We define an employer, for purposes of membership categorization, as a company that derives 30% or less of its revenues from healthcare delivery or services. Networking
Collaborate with other employers and leverage the expertise of industry leaders to help you make better decisions and improve your health management programs for employees.

Education
Discounts and invitations to conferences, seminars, innovation summits, webinars and other e-learning opportunities to help you develop and expand your understanding of the industry.

Resources
Access to latest research findings, white papers, case studies, market analysis and opportunities to participate in CHVI projects including the recently launched Health Value Accelerator™.  CHVI’s Health Value Accelerator™, free with your membership, will help you determine which investments will achieve quick waste reduction and healthier, engaged employees.

Allies

CHVI Ally Membership is open to all individuals who work for an organization that provides products and services that cater to employers and purchasers of healthcare goods and services. Typical Ally members of CHVI work for organizations that provide services in the following categories:
