There are four levels of membership in the Center For Health Value Innovation

Board of Directors

Membership on the Board of Directors is by invitation. Members of the Board of Directors are chosen from the level of innovation, adherence to value-based design principles, and willingness to share trend data for tracking improvement, impact, and change in the market.

Benefits of Membership on the Board of Directors

  • Develop models and test/share them in the market
  • Obtain market credibility as best-in-class for value, outcomes, and reach
  • Participate in invitation-only Innovators’ Summits, defining new concepts, innovation and application of value-based designs for financial sustainability
  • Create thought leadership for you and your organization
  • Build tools, processes and applications that drive value for you and your communities
Job Description/Responsibilities of the Board Director:

  • 3 quarterly board conference calls (90 minutes each)
  • 1 Annual Board Meeting, typically in February
  • Quarterly online-surveys of trends and innovation at your worksite/organization
  • Presentations at seminars/webinars, dependent upon your availability
  • 2 sub-committee phone meetings per year
  • Contributions to thought leadership
  • Fiduciary guidance to the Center’s leadership team

Board of Advisors

Membership on the Advisory Board of the Center is by invitation. Advisory Board members work collaboratively with the Center for Health Value Innovation leaders in “private-door” strategy meetings that include the member’s key colleagues.

Benefits of Membership on the Board of Advisors

  • Develop models and test/share them in the market
  • Participate in the “invite-only” Innovators’ Summits and other high-profile events.  In these materials, Summits, and in the sharing of the evidence, the Center may ask for some in-kind services (outcomes, communication, etc.) from the member’s internal colleagues
  • Attend 2-4 webinars per year
  • Access to members-only information
  • Build thought leadership as value-based leader that drive value

Job Description/Responsibilities of the Board Advisor

General Members

General Members may join the Center for Health Value Innovation at any time throughout the year. General Members learn and contribute to the growing body of evidence for health value innovation.  They have demonstrated a commitment to health promotion and are ready to learn the next steps and share outcomes.

Benefits of General Membership

  • Participate as a valued part of the emerging efforts to drive the value of health investments in the workforce and the community.
  • Suggest innovations/ summits/models for the market.  Center leaders evaluate these ideas for application in advancing the mission of sustainable innovation for improved economic and health outcomes.
  • Share evidence of value and innovation
  • Access to 2 webinars per year
  • “First Look” at white papers on key developments in value-based designs
  • Access to members-only information sharing
Job Description/Responsibilities of the General Member

  • Attendance at annual meeting
  • Notification of new technology and services that are available through the Center and its members
  • Share evidence
  • Promote the Center to Clients
  • Attend seminars and present with Center when asked/ if available
  • Contribute to a case study for the Center website

Industry Allies

There are two levels of Industry Ally Membership, each with a different level of benefits from the Center for Health Value Innovation.  Industry Allies may join the Center at any time throughout the year.  Typically they are Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Device, and Health Services Organizations.  Additionally, they may be Health Information Technology start-ups or Emerging Diagnostic Companies. Industry Allies are best-in-class innovators who use disruptive thinking to change plan design and health outcomes – sharing their best practices with our community. They are typically new, for-profit technologies and service providers, and they have evidence of innovation that drives value and reach within their markets to promote and produce value.  The number of Industry Allies accepted in one year may be limited due to time constraints of Center Leadership.

Benefits of Membership at the Industry Ally $10,000/year level Benefits of Membership at the Industry Ally $25,000/year level

All of the benefits as the $10,000 level, plus

  • 1 60-minute webinar presentation to Center Leadership, with feedback from Center during webinar
  • Up to 4 hours of phone consultation by Center Leadership
  • 1 Press Release from the Center announcing the membership
  • 2-hour onsite presentation to 3-5 Center leaders for feedback (travel to be paid by member company) NOTE:  this replaces the 60 minute webinar presentation offered at the $10,000 level
  • Up to 6 hours of onsite consultation (travel to be paid by member company)
  • White paper summary of “new innovation” written by the Center and posted on our website
  • Potential to co-host a summit or event
  • 2nd Press Release announcing the member company’s best practice/ trend setting innovation
NOTE:  Limited customization of benefits and responsibilities may be available at the $25,000 level
